Although it fairly easy, painting is a job that can take a lot of time. When painting you need to pick out the paint, get the supplies you will need, and then actually paint the room.

When painting, be sure to be careful with the paint and only paint what you intend to paint. Avoid painting roofs, molding, flooring, and other surfaces.
You can do this by masking them or covering them. You can mask areas with plastic sheeting and 3-inch masking tape. Be sure to use drop cloths to protect other surfaces from dripping paint on floors or cement.
When painting, it is important to be aware of the best patterns for painting. The most appealing way to paint surfaces is from the top down. It just looks better when you follow these patterns.
Be sure to regularly check for and paint drips and streaks, which can commonly occur. It just takes a second to fix these problems when the paint is wet, but they are much harder to clean up after the paint dries.
